Tonight I was remembering my childhood when on weekends my parents would take me to Sea Hi or upstairs at the St. Charles for Chinese food. This was before all the new sophisticated styles of chinoiserie came to be in Toronto. I felt like having plain and delicious shrimp spring rolls and chicken fried rice. Then I also opted for a Shanghai noodle and beef dish. My food was delicious. Just the way I wanted and I enjoyed it very much. This is not to say that Dragon Delight did not have more sophisticated Asian dishes, it’s just that I searched out what I did to enjoy and reminisce.

Lightly battered orange chicken was delicious and the right amount spicy and orangey and stir fried veggies were cooked perfectly.
